The Laurel Highlands Racesavers made their second appearance at the Bedford Fairground Speedway within two weeks with picture perfect weather. Thirteen sprint cars signed in for racing but despite the small field the competition was good, for the 20-lap feature Brad Mellott and Drew Ritchey paced the field to the green but an early jump brought out the yellow for a restart however in turns one and two some contact involving #92 Dylan Proctor caused severe damage with a broken front axle and some rear end issues ending his night too early. On the restart Ritchey got the jump taking the lead with Mellott in tow and it stayed that way as the race went green to checker and Ritchey having a good sized lead over the field. A battle between Scott Lutz and Jonathon Jones who started third and fourth went on for several laps with Lutz getting ahead and staying there with Jones in pursuit. As the laps ticked down it was Drew Ritchey #880 copping his second win of the year at the fairground facility the finishing order behind Ritchey was Brad Mellott #6x with a strong run holding down second with Scott Lutz #33 third and Jonathon Jones #12J fourth, fifth went to the R6 of Reed Thompson, sixth to the 17K Stevie Kenawell, seventh Ryan Lynn #26, 8. #71 of Josh Spicer who has been looking very good on the big track, 9. 99 Ray Sheetz, 10. 00s Randy Sterling, 11. 7 Jim Kennedy, 12. 25K Matt Kline, 13. 92 Dylan Proctor (DNF).
